"I have known Tom for nearly
20 years. Tom is eminently qualified as a Geriatric Care Manager. He
has decades of experience managing and owning facilities dedicated to
elder care at all levels - skilled nursing, adult foster homes and
assisted living.
I have
often used his services as a Guardian Ad Litem. I have a great deal of
respect for his knowledge of the special needs of the geriatric
population. He has unsurpassed insight not only into the issues of
physical care, but into the emotional needs of both elders and
their families. Additionally, he has a solid grasp of the financial
and other practical issues a family must confront.
In all my
dealings with Tom, he has operated with a high degree of
professionalism and ethical standards."

"When my
father-in-law fell and had to go to the hospital, we never dreamed he
wouldn't be able to go back home. After just a few days, we got a call
from the hospital telling us we needed to make arrangements to move
him. We were in shock and had no idea where to start—we just knew
that our Dad was never going to a nursing home! Unfortunately, we
all work and couldn't bring him to stay with one of us.
Someone
suggested we call Tom and ask for his help. Thank goodness we did. Tom
helped us to understand what was really best for Dad. He needed some
pretty intense therapy at first to regain some strength and mobility.
After a few weeks in a good nursing home working with several
therapists, he was much better. Unfortunately, he was never going to
be back where he was. Tom suggested we look at an Adult Foster Home. We had never heard of such a thing. He took us to see several and
asked some very good questions that we never would have known to ask.
We agreed on one and moved Dad the next week. Although he still really
wanted to go home, in a very short time, 'home' was where he was.
From time
to time, we still call Tom with questions and he's always there for
us. I would not
hesitate to recommend Tom to families in our situation."
